Range Requirements

Classroom Requirements

All riding by RiderCoaches and participants must be done with proper riding gear,

which minimally includes a helmet and eye protection, sturdy over-the-ankle footwear,

long-sleeved shirt or jacket, sturdy pants, and full-fingered gloves.

Motorcycles, whether program-owned, loaned or participant-owned, must be in safe

operating condition.

The new training motorcycle policy recognizes that engine size, weight and seat

height should be taken into account when selecting training motorcycles. Therefore,

any motorcycle model manufactured for on-highway use that has an engine displacement

of 500cc or less meets MMSP's requirement for training motorcycles.
